SEASON 3 TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

  1. Finals Attendance Notification
    • If a participant is unable to attend the Tour Finals due to unavoidable personal circumstances, they must notify the team captain and the Tournament Committee by Saturday, January 23, 2026. No replacement players will be allowed to fill the vacant spot that are not on the initial Team Entry Form.
  2. Player Registration
    • Players must arrive at the tournament venue and complete their registration at least 30 minutes before the tournament starts (tee-off). A 15-minute grace period will be allowed for the match to start after the set date and time of the match.After that 15-minute grace period, if a player is late, that player will receive the max score of double-par for each hole they are late.They may join the match upon arrival and can play the remaining holes.
    • If a player gets sick or injured and can’t continue, that player will receive the max score of double-par on the remaining holes.No substitute is allowed once the team of 3 players has teed off on the first hole.Should one of the original 3 players be unable to play, and has not teed off on the first hole, the 4th team member may be able to replace that team member.
  3. Bay Access
    • After the tournament begins, only the players assigned to that bay, tournament officials (broadcast personnel, competition committee members, technical committee members), and other related staff may enter the bay (hitting area and simulator booth). Any other player entering a bay they are not assigned to will be disqualified.
  4. Etiquette Violations
    • Players whose actions violate golf etiquette and affect other players will be penalized according to the player behavior code. Severe violations may result in disqualification. Spectators violating etiquette may be removed from the tournament venue and banned from future events.
    • Players may not offer any advice to any individual that is not on their team and currently playing the same round. Players may not accept advice from any individuals other than those on their team and playing the same round.
  5. Protests
    • Only the player themselves may protest the results or decisions of the Tournament Committee. Failure to follow the Committee’s instructions may result in disqualification or referral to a Disciplinary Committee established by the Tournament Committee, leading to possible suspension or revocation of player eligibility.
  6. Determination of Winner
    • Except during the Qualifier Event and Team Qualifying (scored through GSM), players/team captain must sign a scorecard after every round, which must be verified by the Host Facility or GOLFZON, as applicable. Matches are final once scorecards have been signed.
    • The winner and final standings will be confirmed and verified by the GOLFZON Tournament Committee.
  7. Tournament Cancellation
    • In case of natural disasters or circumstances at the venue that make it impossible to proceed with the tournament, the Tournament Committee will decide whether to hold over or finalize the current tournament results.
  8. End of Tournament
    • The tournament officially ends when the trophy is presented to the winner. No objections or disputes will be entertained after the tournament has concluded, and all decisions made by the Tournament Committee are final.
  9. Medical Time Allocation
    • Players who suddenly fall ill or are injured during the tournament are typically allowed 15 minutes of recovery time, in the discretion of the Tournament Committee.
  10. Malfunctions.
    • In the event of a simulator malfunction preventing continued play, the simulator and the round will be restarted at the beginning of the same hole on which the malfunction occurred and the contestants shall replay that hole and continue the game. Scores recorded for holes completed prior to the malfunction shall remain valid. Upon the approval of the Tournament committee, a match may be rescheduled in the event of a prolonged malfunction preventing play.
  11. Practice Rules
    • After the practice session ends, players must log in immediately. Any practice strokes taken after logging in but before the tournament starts (tee-off) will result in a penalty. (1-stroke penalty for violations).
    • Practice between strokes is not permitted (such as going to another bay to rehearse an upcoming shot).
  12. Use of Practice Tools
    • Practice tools used for anything other than stretching (such as practice swings) will result in penalties. (1st violation: 2-stroke penalty, 2nd violation: disqualification).
  13. Video Recording
    • Recording videos at the finals venue for the purpose of uploading to media channels is strictly prohibited. Exceptions may be made with approval from the Tournament Committee.
  14. Group Formation and Booth Assignment
    • The formation of groups and bay assignment will be decided by the Host Facility for each location or GOLFZON, as applicable.
  15. Golf Balls
    • Players must use the golf ball provided in the bay that comes through the auto-tee. No changing and/or marking the golf balls. If the ball is damaged, remove that ball and have the auto-tee refeed the next ball in the simulator. Players may request up to a maximum of three (3) replacement golf balls for any one (1) shot by refeeding the ball.
    • Players must play only with the golf balls provided by the Host Facility or GOLFZON and may not mark such balls nor keep such balls for future shots (all balls must be fed by the auto tee in the normal course).
  16. Playing Surface.
    • Players must play each shot out of the appropriate surface as directed and displayed by the GOLFZON simulator.Playing from the wrong surface will result in one-stroke penalty. It is the responsibility of the players in that match to call the penalty if this rule was breached.
  17. Mulligans.
    • Except in the event of a malfunction or other disruption to play and with the approval of the Host Facility or GOLFZON Tournament Committee, there shall be no mulligans used. Players that have used a mulligan without approval may lose the hole or round, or be disqualified. There are no mulligans allowed during individual qualifiers or team qualifiers.
  18. Keypad and Arrows.
    • No directional keys (key pad) or arrows (on kiosk) may be used when on the putting surface.
  19. Pace of Play
    • It is recommended during all rounds that players make a stroke in no more than 40 seconds.
    • During the Top 4 and finals matches, an official will be on site to monitor pace of play and may warn or time players if needed.
    • During other rounds, players are expected to play at a reasonable pace — another competitor or opponent may file a complaint that will be investigated by the GOLFZON Rules Committee.
  20. Rules Hard Card.
    • These rules and the GOLFZON provided hard card with a summary of the rules shall be distributed by Host Facilities to all participants prior to qualification.
    • Unless stated otherwise, all rules infractions will incur a 1-stroke penalty.
